Well Christmas is here already passed for some on the way for others Christmas is in the neighborhood, or another name for other religions and beliefs, we all have the right to celebrate the seasons as we wish or not celebrate it at all.
Me? I'd say I believe in a higher power but don't like to name names, be it Buddha, Allah, Jesus, or any other religious figures.
I believe in doing to others what we'd like done to us therefore I try my best to be a good person and nice to those around me.
I like the pretty lights, the reindeer and real neat ornaments and even the pretty Christmas trees, but I must say I don't feel towards Christmas that same joy I used to. I guess one reason is the way it gets more and more commercial, so many people out there care more about the presents then being in family, and you tend to feel obliged to get something even when you can't afford it, and when you get to the unwrapping you tend to feel bad if you got a better present then you gave and feel like your present isn't good enough.... But I'm not saying everyone everywhere is like that, I at least hope not.
But all in all, I guess I must try and make the most of it after all it's not everyday you get a chance to be with your closest family although for some it's good and for others that might be torment, having to be in a confined space with people you just can't stand...
Just remember for better or for worse, it's just once a year so it's best to try and look at the bright side of things wile you can.
I'll keep admiring the lights on the trees and those in lovely shapes decorating the streets, the Santa's climbing the houses and the places with original decorations that you just can't help but stop and stare at.
Hopefully this will be a good year just as the years after.
Oh and I can't forget to mention the New Years that will be filled with fireworks here, the loud booms and bright flashes that fill the night sky with shades of red, blue and other sweet colors that make us glued to them like super glue.

Winter:
Christmas Eve and Christmas on the 24th and 25th
New Years from 31December to 1st January

Just watch out for Santa, with all this new technology he might find himself in some trouble like incoming planes mid flight with his reindeer... :P or he might have too much eggnog in some places...
