I found a resource for people looking for books called AbeBooks, you can find a big repertoir of books there and a good advanced search where you can search from author, title, price range, ISBN and much more so it makes it much easier to speceficate what you are looking for.

You can also sell books on the site. They take a commission of 8% I think, I don't have books to sell so not sure.I think it's international so I think it doesn't matter where you are, but if you are looking for a book I think you can specify where you want to buy it from.
It looks like a good place and when I have some money I might be doing some shopping there... you can never have too many books in my opinion :)
