It avoids having you get into problems for using images illegally, as long as you know what your buying, you won't buy an image for simple displaying for the same price as one you would want to use as a magazine cover for example.

Oh and you can sell your images the too if they have a very good quality, they have to have specific quality, size, etc to be accepted...
