People are going crazy on facebook with all the virtual games and so on. I must have over 5 games myself, such as yoville, farmville, countrylife, farmtown, fishville, treasure island, petville...
I think those are the correct names, but the truth is I have so many that it is hard to keep track of them all.
Many of the games allow you to take photos so you can post a photo of your progress on your profile for friends to view.
Some people take it lightly but others really take it seriously. My dad for example is so addicted to the games you'd think the farms are real :)
I must admit I've not been faithfull to my games, I always seem to find a better game I like more.
I was playing FarmVille as I liked the fact you could get produce from your animals, then changed to FarmTown because the FarmTown one allowed you to go to the market and be hired for work to earn more coins or even hire people for your farm but the animals served no pourpose so I was dissapointed. I was then stuck on FarmTown for a bit and still going to Farmville and discovered another game and another, and now I really am into CountryLife seing as you can feed your animals, then use their produce to make other products... So it's quite intteresting. I grow clover, feed it to my cow, then use the milk to make cheese.... It is optional though so if you preffer to sell the milk and not make cheese to sell it's up to you but the more processes it goes through the more you'll be paid.
I am on a lower lever in countrylife but so far the chickens eggs have given the most money, though I needed to go to level 6 to be able to buy the chiken coop then added the chikens gifted to me to it to get my eggs after feeding them corn I harvested.
I must say there's so many games and applications that the more gifts and application invites I seem to accept the more there seem to be. So I would advise you to accept or ignore them as soon as you receive them, or like me you'll find it confusing with hundreds of applications to go through and frustrating when you want to look for specefic game gifts.
I must say it's been quite fun, though I think it shouldn't be taken TOO seriously.
